Where we came from
In 1973, Roger Tym saw the potential for a new kind of practice where economists inform the work of planners and planners inform the work of economists.
Roger established Roger Tym & Associates, bringing in other partners over time to take forward his concept of an innovative economic practice specialising in planning and development consultancy. We are now 60 professionals in five offices across the UK.

On 1st April 2011 the firm merged with Peter Brett Associates LLP. Peter Brett Associates has provided sustainable transport, land development and engineering consultancy services to the public and private sector clients worldwide for more than 40 years.
