Supporting policy and promoting housing developments
We produce the evidence base for Core Strategies and Site Allocation DPDs, and guide development schemes through the planning process. We prepare:- strategic housing land availability assessments (SHLAAs)
- affordable housing economic viability assessments
- spatial plans, including masterplanning, investment strategies and Area Action Plans.
Housing development
We advise housebuilders and developers on specific development opportunities and provide expert witness services to our private sector clients and on behalf of local authorities. Our long-standing private sector clients include JJ Gallagher, Bellway Homes, Persimmon Homes, Barratt Homes and Taylor Wimpey.
Housing policy
We remain at the forefront of policy formulation; we understand the pressures facing local authorities. Our particular skills mix gives us an in-depth understanding of the development process, the nature of housing markets and the interaction of the wide range of factors that influence both availability and demand.
