The Team
Joanne joined the firm’s London office in 2005, having previously worked as a local authority development control officer. A chartered town planner, she has been involved in a wide range of projects, providing planning advice to both public and private sectors.
Joanne is heavily involved in the firm’s housing work. She has particular experience in analysing the housing supply of various local authorities in support of planning applications and promoting sites through the development plan for private sector clients. And for the public sector she has been involved in Future Growth Studies which have informed Section 4(4) responses to proposed growth scenarios in a Regional Spatial Strategy Review, and the completion of Strategic Housing Land Availability Assessments as part of a local authority’s evidence base.
She also has experience in the preparation of planning applications for various schemes. Recent projects include the masterplanning and expansion of Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, mixed use development of Brewery Square, Dorchester, and two large scale mixed-use developments in Southwark, one of which she project managed the production of an Environmental Impact Assessment.

Joanne currently manages the firm’s country-wide work on the National Land Use Database and Local Brownfield Strategies for the Homes and Communities Agency.
