John is a strategist and experienced development planner, in both the public and private sectors. John promotes development through the planning system and is involved with major developments across the whole land-use range.
John is involved with the deliverability of projects and plans. He leads the firm's initiatives on delivery, CIL, obligations and viability appraisals as well as training planners in these areas. He has the ability to communicate complex issues in a simple and accessible way and regularly speaks at conferences.

John is an accredited mediator and a member of the multi-disciplinary RICS Planning Mediation Group, tasked with supporting mediation in the planning system.
