Nick is an economist and planner with broad experience in regeneration, planning, economic development and retail analysis gained over eighteen years in consultancy.

He has managed projects of varying scale across the UK and in overseas environments, often involving multi-disciplinary teams. This has included management of disparate interests and competing land uses, and preparation and presentation of evidence to Planning Inquiries.

Nick’s experience in developing regeneration strategies combines with expertise in option development and appraisal, key features in making the case for supporting development.

Similarly, he has a clear understanding of the role of evaluation and monitoring and its contribution to policy and strategy development and has developed operational frameworks for national, regional and local bodies, including regeneration companies. He routinely provides analytical comment.

Nick has extensive UK, Irish and international experience in retail and town centre strategy development and assessment. He has advised a wide range of public and private sector clients including national and local governments, retail operators and developers.

Nick has been a Partner since 2006 and currently runs the firm's Glasgow office.
