Tamsin is a chartered town planner with over 13 years' professional planning experience in both the public and private sectors.
She advises our public and private sector clients on a wide range of planning and development matters with particular experience in retail and housing. She has prepared and presented evidence to planning inquiries on behalf of property developers and local authorities.
Tamsin is currently promoting sites through the development plan process for out of town retail schemes, providing advice in relation to major development sites in the countryside and preparing applications for large scale mixed-use schemes. She leads many of the firm's retail impact assessments on behalf of local authority clients and has successfully obtained permission at inquiry on a number of occasions. She advises local authorities on submitted retail proposals and has played a key part at public inquiries helping to defend against new developments, where necessary, on retail impact grounds.
