Beauly-Denny powerline gets go-ahead

Roger Tym & Partners helps secure Beauly-Denny power line upgradeThe upgraded 137 mile powerline will allow it to carry renewable energy from the far north of the country, linking up with the National Grid.
RTP has played a key role in the project since 2004, assessment its impact on tourism, recreation and the local economy as a whole. David Keddie, Partner, was expert witness at the inquiry.
The upgrade was approved by Jim Mather, Energy Minister for the Scottish Parliament, on 6 January 2010 following an extensive public inquiry in 2007.
