Debating the impact of public sector cuts

June 2010
John Parmiter recently joined a panel of leading private and public sector experts to discuss the impact of spending cuts on Whitehall and town halls.

Like all businesses, Roger Tym & Partners has been debating this since the coalition Government took its seats in May, and John was pleased to take our views and questions to a wider audience.

In the context of the current drive to reduce spend, coupled with the changes being made to the planning system, local planning authorities must create new opportunities to make localism work for them.  Work must go on: housing must be built, infrastructure must be found and business must be supported. We must all learn to do more with less.

At RTP, we are working with the public sector to help find new ways of achieving this.
