Roger Tym & Partners is working with the RTPI to deliver its Evidence Base Masterclasses series.Local authorities are required to prepare and maintain a suite of evidence base studies to underpin their planning policies. Evidence bases are increasingly important, and producing them can be a long, complicated and expensive process. But it doesn’t have to be.
The Masterclass series will help local authorities to prepare and maintain a suite of evidence base studies to underpin their planning policies. Attendees will learn what evidence to assemble, how to prepare effective studies and keep them up to date, as well as what they should contain. Effective guidance will be provided to help demonstrate that evidence is robust and the policies based on it are sound. Most importantly, the Masterclasses will help local authorities decide what can be done in-house and where specialist help may be needed.
