Infrastructure planning and delivery seminar
May 2009
On Monday 11 May, Roger Tym & Partners gave a seminar in its London office - Infrastructure planning and delivery in the real world. An audience of public and private sector professionals learnt about the techniques and solutions that have been developed to help produce a robust evidence base and put a plan in place. Experts talked about funding and lessons learnt.
Andrew Clarke, Roger Tym & Partners, said “Credit crunch has hammered the ability of development to pay for the infrastructure demand it generates. Some investment just isn’t going to be possible for a decade. But some is. The art in infrastructure planning will be in knowing which is which, and why.”
The programme:
-
Chair – Cristina Howick, Roger Tym & Partners
-
PPS12 challenges – Chris Bowden, Roger Tym & Partners
-
Funding perspectives – Michael Beaman, Michael Beaman Limited
-
New infrastructure planning tools – Philip Wallbridge, Roger Tym & Partners
-
Lessons learnt so far – Andrew Clarke, Roger Tym & Partners
-
Panel discussion with Stephen Ashworth of Denton Wilde Sapte and John Tiley of Hertfordshire County Council.
We intend to repeat the seminar in other offices across the UK. If you would like to find out more or see a copy of the slides, please contact Morina Benjamin on 020 7831 2711 or e-mail infrastructure@tymconsult.com
