Planning permissions renewed for St Modwen

Stoke planning permissions renewed for St Modwen Roger Tym & Partners has successfully advised St Modwen Developments Ltd on the renewal of two planning permissions for the redevelopment of the former Phoenix Timber Yard site in Longton, Stoke.
RTP secured the original consents in 2007; the new permissions extend the time limits for their implementation. The first permission, which was granted in full, was for the erection of a retail warehouse (A1) unit. The second was an outline consent for mixed use development comprising B2, B8 and A1 uses on the same site.
The applications were submitted following the introduction of new fee regulations, which came into force in February 2010, and included an assessment of the proposals against the up-to-date policy framework, including PPS4 and the adopted Core Strategy.
