RTP to advise on business case for new bridge

May 2010
Roger Tym & Partners is to advise on business case for new bridge in key growth area

The new bridge would replace an existing footbridge, providing a better crossing experience.  It will link the existing town centre and proposed new development to the north of the railway line with the Southern Expansion Quarter, a major mixed-use development opportunity.

Working as sub-consultants to engineer Robert West, who will examine the infrastructure and engineering constraints to installing a new bridge, RTP will consider the economic and business case for a new bridge, advise on potential funding sources and work with key stakeholders to ensure that the options identified for a new bridge are deliverable.
