Tendring infrastructure study commissioned

Roger Tym & Partners has been appointed to undertake an infrastructure study for Tendring District Council. The study will directly inform the spatial options being considered as part of the district's Core Strategy.
RTP will use its expertise in infrastructure planning and GIS to map the areas of best potential for growth, within the context of infrastructure needs and current capacity. This will be complemented by a viability assessment to determine whether there are areas with spare infrastructure capacity, and the scale of development that will provide the best prospects for delivery.
The team will then look at the costs and implications of connecting potential sites to existing infrastructure catchments. This will inform the Site Allocations DPD as well as support the choice of preferred option for the Core Strategy DPD.
