Applications, appeals and inquiries

Supporting our clients through the complexities of the planning system

The complexities of preparing a planning application require expert advice, from the preparation of a clear “route map” for the promoter to the submission of the final documentation and negotiation of consents.  Pre-application submissions, consultation, validation, negotiation, viability testing, obligations, and presentation to committee are all part of the task of the planning consultant.

We advise on all forms of application, including those requiring Environmental Impact Assessment, those affecting listed buildings, in conservation areas and applications in other sensitive locations.  We understand the information and evidence local planning authorities (LPAs) need to help them make sound decisions within reasonable timescales.  We are also fully practised in negotiating with LPAs to secure the best possible outcome for our clients, both before and after submission of an application.

Our planning teams prepare and submit appeals where appropriate, advising clients on the time, costs and risks associated with it.
