Roger Tym & Partners has been providing economic and employment forecasts for over 20 years.
Our forecasts are used in economic development strategies, spatial plans, transport plans and to help develop individual projects. Our specialist area of expertise is spatial disaggregation of macroeconomic forecasts into local and sub-regional forecasts and scenarios, designed to answer particular questions and explore particular policy options.
Over many years we have forecast London employment by sector and borough to support the London Plan and its predecessors, and have produced finer-grained population and employment forecasts for TfL. In the West Midlands, our forecasts fed into the Regional Centres Study, gauging the potential for office development in different towns and cities.
