Socio-economic impact

Roger Tym & Partners provides in-depth assessment of the socio-economic impacts of projects and programmes.  We undertake such assessments as free-standing studies and also as input elements to larger projects including those for Environmental Impact Assessments, project appraisals, and the making of business cases for projects.

Socio-economic impact assessment can be used for:
- business continuity
- promotion
- defence
- influence
- business opportunity
- expansion
- development
- planning
Our impact assessments allow funders and other decision makers to appraise the viability of a project based on their own criteria.  This might involve funding bodies needing to establish the impact of a particular project or organisation’s activities, or a client requiring the forecasting of the number of jobs created or safeguarded as the result of a new development to assist in making a funding decision, granting consent for development, or arriving at a project agreement.

We recognise the unique social, economic, cultural and physical environments of the projects we assess, and draw upon our wider knowledge and experience to ensure that our clients have the most robust socio-economic assessment to inform their decision making processes.
