Feasibility Impact Appraisal & Evaluation + Evaluation

We evaluate public policies and publicly funded projects and programmes to determine how far they have achieved objectives and delivered value for money, and to advise on possible improvements which could be made.

Our experience ranges from major national and European initiatives including the UK Urban Development Corporations and European Structural Funds, through regional policies to local regeneration schemes.

Policy and project evaluation involves performance monitoring, the systematic collection of information - financial, management, output and outcomes - to establish the extent to which objectives are being achieved; comparing achieved versus planned progress; and proposing amendments to the project where adjustments are needed to ensure planned progress is achieved in the intended timetable.

For ex-post evaluation, the task is the assessment of the economy, efficiency and effectiveness of a policy or project in order to draw lessons for future interventions.

Examples of our impact work include:

Jubilee Line Extension Evaluation - Assessed the impact of the JLE from Green Park through to the east of London for Transport for London and DTLR.	Mid Term Evaluation of the South of Scotland Objective 2 Programme - Evaluation of the effectiveness of projects pursued under the South of Scotland Objective 2 Programme to measure progress in the Programme Priorities and the cross cutting themes.	Lewisham NRF Evaluation - Evaluation of the strategy development, spending choices and allocations, institutional architecture and project effectiveness of NRF spend in Lewisham.
