Feasibility Impact Appraisal & Evaluation + impact

We estimate and forecast the socio-economic and property impacts of major projects, such as mixed-use developments, new public sector transport systems, roads, and cultural and tourism facilities.

Our recent experience includes the impact of airport rail links, most of the UK's light rapid transport (LRT) projects; road by-passes to settlements in the Republic Of Ireland; National Coalfield Projects and regeneration schemes; major financial institutions impact on local and regional economies; technology, innovation and science parks; educational institutions; windfarms; electricity distribution schemes; and major multi-output regeneration projects.

In such impact assessments we follow good practice, HM Treasury, and other guidance in assessing the outputs and outcomes of projects against their objectives, make adjustments for leakage, displacement and additonality; assess Value for Money against benchmarks; and adjust the analysis for any "optimism" bias; assessing the risks and uncertainties.
