We undertake authoritative research into the full range of matters
covered by the land use planning system, including: retail need
and impact; town centre performance; employment land needs; industry
sectors (e.g., distribution) regional and local economic studies
and strategies.
Examples of recent studies include:
the Black Country and West Midlands Centres Studies; retail and town
centre studies of, amongst others, Kingston upon Thames, Huntingdon,
North Northamptonshire, Gateshead, and North West Leicestershire;
employment land studies for (amongst others) Greater London, the
East Midland, Ashford, Buckinghamshire and Kent; housing studies
for, amongst others, the ODPM and Leicester City Council; housing
studies for numerous local authorities and the ODPM; housing as an
economic generator in the Tees Valley; affordable housing in the
South West for the regional government and planning bodies; and distribution
and logistics studies for several private developers.
